Dr. Singh has more than Twenty-Five years of experience in Cardio-vascular Surgery
He passed his MBBS, from S.N. Medical College, Agra, in 1986, where he distinguished himself and was awarded certificate of merit in ophthalmology and Surgery
After his Masters (M.S.) in General Surgery, he moved to Bombay to pursue a career in Cardio-vascular surgery under the famous heart surgeons at Bombay Hospital
He completed his Masters (M.Ch.) in Cardio-Thoracic Surgery from Institute of Cardiology, Kanpur in 1993
Joined the faculty of Escorts Heart Institute in 1993
Cleared the US Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) in 1996
He was selected to Texas Heart Institute, Houston, USA for Cardio-vascular fellowship under the famous heart surgeon Dr. Denton Cooley in 1997
Was the First Indian to be awarded the prestigious ‘Outstanding Fellow Award’ by the D.A.Cooley Cardio-Vascular Surgical Society in 1999.
Received a traveling fellowship to work at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland in 1999 and at Buffalo General Hospital, Mass. General Hospital, Boston in 2000.
Returned to India in Oct. 2000 to work as Consultant in Escort Heart Institute, New Delhi.
Received the Rotary International Vocational Award for cardiac vascular surgery by Rotary International in June 2003.
Worked at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia, from 2004 to April 2005, and was trained in complex Aortic and Aortic root replacement surgery
Member of various national and international cardiovascular associations. He is an International member of the prestigious Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) USA and European Association for Cardio – Thoracic Surgery (EACTS).

I have presented over 20 papers in various national and international conferences and also have over 15 publications in national and international cardio-thoracic journals.
3. Training Junior Surgeons and residents in cardiac sciences.
I have been involved in traing junior surgeons and cardiologists and residents as part of the Diplomate National Board (DNB) PGDC programmes at Max hospital Saket, Delhi Heart and Lung Inst. and at Fortis Hospital, Shalimarbagh, New Delhi.
